Khalifa Abu Bakr, also known as Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (meaning “The Truthful”), was the first Caliph (successor) of the Prophet Muhammad and one of the most prominent figures in early Islamic history. His full name was Abdullah ibn Abi Quhafa, and he was born around 573 CE in Mecca.
